In addition to more than 40 years of law enforcement experience in federal, state, local, and private Police Chief positions, Dr. Taylor is a founder of successful private security firms. He served as President/CEO of Signal 88 Security of Charlotte and of Capitol Special Patrol, and he is Chief of Police of Capitol Special Police. He is a certified NC Private Protective Services Armed and Unarmed Guard Instructor, a Department of Defense Physical Security Inspector, and a member of the American Society for Industrial Security and the Professional Investigators and Security Association.
